This winery is a vertical winery, comparable to Villa Vinea in Transylvania. Nice landscape, above average pricing, excellent idea not to accept children in an environment not really meant for the little ones. Make sure to book and recheck booking in advance.

Beautiful place with good wine and pleasant stuff. The soups were extraordinary, traditional taste. On other food and desserts they still have a lot of work to do. A good location for a weekend out.

Very tasty food at the restaurant, mostly made of their own or local ingridients. Good place for families with small children. Sleeping accomodations are not cheap but worth the price. A large and well maintained swimming pool was a nice unexpected bonus.But dont expect a very fresh tap water. As far as I understand, it is a common problem in the region.

Awesome place, a must see for every tourist who visits Chisinau and Moldova. Cricova winery limestone labyrinthic roadways are astonishing, and the wines are incredible. History, culture and spirit, gathered in the same roof, served with sparkling wine.

The worlds biggest winery with over 200KM of underground tunnels. Each street is appropriately named after a wine or grape. We hired a tour to drive us around and there was a hired tour guide who gave us additional information at each stop in the tunnels. At the end, we were able to try three different wines with traditional Moldovan snacks. During the tasting there was live folk music that really tied everything together. It was a great experience!

A great winery that is both sophisticated and unpretentious. Located 30 minutes from the Ukrainian (Odesa) border, its a great place to spend an afternoon. The wines are high quality, and even the Moldovan whites they produced are tasty (a rarity for Moldovan whites). The farm house restaurant serves a limited but lovely menu of locally made dishes. Come for a weekend but be sure to reserve a room ahead of time.
