I like this place for most of the time it's empty, especially the second floor. Comfortable for working or having a glass of wine. The food and sweets are average, the staff is receptive most of the time.

Good food. Very nice cheese pancakes and outmeal with coconut milk. Nice breakfast choice. Try shakshuka, eggs Benedict. Also my choice - cheese and tomato salad.

Coffee at Tucano is fabulous. Also the young and free attitude Tucano is cultivating is always there regardless of the shop. But my 3 stars are for the awful taste of the chocolate filling in the croissant. The filling felt like it was diluted with water, it was badly liking and had such a pour and cheap taste.Another thing that bothered me was the soap in the toilet that gave me the same feeling of being diluted with water. I expected soap in my hands and I got a drop of water which I lost it by the time I approached my hand to the sink.So dear Tucano’s you have worked hard to build a good image and reputation. Don’t ruin it on watery soap and tasteless and cheap chocolate filling.

If you ever find yourself in Chisinau, get there. Fast. Their breakfasts are amazing but this place is not only about breakfast. Eggs Benedict are really good and so are their sushi/poke dishes, waffles and desserts. They do take the extra step needed to make great food. Good coffee too. Highly recommended.

I was very skeptical going into this place as I’m a huge fan of gourmet donuts( especially in some New York locations). But I was not disappointed one bit. The coffee was good and the donuts were delicious. And the fact that they are limited makes them feel more exclusive. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest.
