Good traditional Moldovan/Romanian food restaurant with live music. The food tasted very good. We had a very pleasant evening. We had a large group of 15 people, so it is ok if it takes a bit long before the food arrives. But this evening it took far too long, even though the restaurant was maybe 30 percent full. I also found the prices steep, by far the most expensive we had dinner in Moldova. Still a good choice if you want to eat good quality local food.

A very nice culinary experience. The service was very nice, the waiters were very polite and attentive and the food was excellent. We ordered soups (soleanca, fish soup and beans soup) and cheese pie and they were all delicious. The bread was very tasty and warm. The coffee was also good. The place looks very traditional and nice. The food is a little pricey but it’s worth it. Definitely will visit again if I have the chance.

Good food and portions and nice service, but you have to wait a bit for the food. Authentic local cuisine. The lemonade however was not made with real lemons.

Vatra Neamului
Restaurantul – “Vatra Neamului” vă invită să savurați din bucatele si băuturile domnești, într-o ambianță în care istoria se combină cu eleganța. Veți evada din secolul XXI în Moldova de altădată, într-un loc unde istoria este vie, de la origini pînă în prezent. Aici aveți posibilitatea să stați la o masă veche, plină de amintiri, să serviți bucatele comandate din tacîmuri împărătești autohtone, caracteristice epocii străvechi.
Meniul include o mulțime de bucate, inspirate din diverse culturi: româna, turcă, rusă si altele care au marcat istoria, obiceurile si tradițiile neamului.
